HEYYY GUYS
So as I was roleplaying with an unfortunate noob, I found a voice for Overshirt, which lead me to the question: Does anyone else have voice headcanons for their characters? It makes playing and reading lines so much fun imo so I thought I'd share!!

If you have any, feel free to post them! I'd love to see them! ♥ Also, if you thought otherwise let me know LOL

Blazer: Honestly, it's my Dave headcanon, which is MasterYogi's Dave. It's just too perfect. Striders forever.

Strappon: I really have no headcanon voice for him other than that of a British male? His voice is pretty generic, but if I find one I'll post it.

Fudoshi: I'm 100% positive this'll be a trend with my "expy" or inspired characters, but definitely Angeal Hewely's from FFVII: Crisis Core, in English not Japanese. Or Sephiroth-ish. Mostly Angeal, though. He's not monotone, so... Ye.

Fishnet: Fishy's always a hard one, but if you've watched our silly Daten*Channel stuff, you'll know his voice LOL

Overshirt: Definitely Adachi's voice from Persona 4, in English. I don't know why, but it hit me to be so perfect. Obviously with 100% less psychopathic tenancies (Spoiler Alert oops)

Amulet: Dartz's English voice from Yu-Gi-Oh! It's really hard to find clips of it, but if anyone remembers him it's definitely that.

Toesocks: No voice headcanon yet, just a really funny broken French accent. If you want to make yourself laugh, just remember Saison Marguerite from The Most Popular Girls in School and you'll be good.

Jeans: Jeans is a hard one. Since their original faceclaim (Yubel from YGO GX) has that double-voice thing going on, I don't think of that as a good voiceclaim. I'll get back to you on this one, but their voice is definitely more feminine.

Jacket: This one should be obvious, it's mostly based on Jaden from YGO GX, and not ShadyVox's version.

HP: I've been switching this kid's voice one too many times and can't come to terms w/ one voice but p much Mitch Grassi from Pentatonix.

Shades: Markiplier's voice!

Jokki: Chase Young from the original Xiaolin Showdown.

Massie: Lucina's voice from FE:A tbqh, perhaps a little more raspy than that.

Straitjacket: Inner SJ is a mix between either a lower pitched Flying Dutchman from Spongebob or Barbossa from PotC. As for regular SJ, TBD.

tbh we're talking about language in my anthropology class rn so all the dialect talk makes me want to specify stuff further than I usually would haha (I don't have specific voiceclaims/timbre ballparks for most of these guys so have fun w/ the info given oop)

BOLERO: No regional bias! Talks like your average Daten-centered angel for the most part. Being private schooled most of his life he tends to talk more formally, or tries to. Timbre-wise, imagine the halfway point of Cr1tikal and Ryouta Takeuchi (Ren's Seiyuu)

ARMSOCKS: Grew up in a heavenly region analagous to Daten, living in a deeply urban part with his Japanese mother. Has an lower-class urban dialect pervasive in most of his speech, with slight hintings of a Japanese accent slipping in. Timbre-wise he actually sounds sorta like Shiro Iori from KLK, (Or Uzu. Or something in-between. Danny Sexbang is also acceptable.)

KNICKERS: Grew up in France and England equally, though her academy schooling was in England--dialect tends to take from Received Pronunciation (RP) English and has a slight French influence to it.

HOT PANTS: See Ascot. Timbre-wise probably sounds like Ryuko.

ASCOT: Grew up in Japan, fluent in both Japanese and English from a young age, actually has a smidge of a Japanese accent but it doesn't shine through all that well. Timbre-wise, imagine Martin Mull's performance as Vlad Plasmius.

AVI: doesn't have an accent because he's lived in Daten for several years now and also been ..places that aren't England. Can slip into RP at times. Timbre-wise its all over the place sometimes I think 'just imagine RDJ's performance as Sherlock Holmes' but that was for pre-reboot Avi and I've come to an odd convergence where both of his ~source~ characters share the same VA in their english dubs (Thanks Mercer), so take of that what you will.

DOMINO: Wasn't originally programmed for normal speech, so he's got just a little bit of that vocal intonation you hear when people try to make vocaloids speak english. Tends to deliver tone a little oddly considering he doesn't process emotion the same way humans do, paralanguage doesn't actually fit the words a lot of the time just yet. Tends to emphasize the strengths of his voice and prefers taking a sing-songy sort of lilt to his voice. Timbre-wise, he sounds like your average alpha unit--imagine Clear, but a jackass.
