All right, some people may think this is just a bit meh, but I feel like this is worth just a looksie if for a few seconds.
So, another chat RP session has come and gone, And I missed it. AGAIN. Now let me just say, I'm not intentionally doing this. There are 3 big reasons as to why I can't join you guys.
1). I usually work on the weekends. The late nights of Friday, Saturday and Sunday are when I go to work. The latest time I usually get off is at 1:30-2:00 A.M. So to see that RP's are around 8 P.M.
2). My work Wi-fi is utter shit. I'm a mechanic at a bowling alley which means I basically just sit in the back in the mech's area and fix the machines whenever something goes awry or when they need to be cleaned. So, seeing as if I have the whole back area to myself, you'd think that I'd be able to get some sweet Wi-fi access right? WRONG. The closest Wi-fi signal I can get is from an Office Depot that's like 10 feet away, and it's OK, but when it comes to the chats, it just won't work. And not to mention there's a really freaking cool sweet spot of Wi-fi up front, but that's where my superiors are, and the only way I could really log in and do some stuff is if I use the bathroom. And I don't want to look like the slacker. And I do get that sweet spot signal in the back as well! It's just that it's really far away and If I do connect to it, it won't work.
3). Constantly on my feet. I'm either fixing and/or cleaning the machines or sweeping up the floors to pass the time. I do log on now and then, but I don't want my supervisors to know that I've dicked around for a good 2 hours or such. They allow my laptop mind you, it;s just that I don't want them to think I spend TOO much time on it.
And if that's not much for you, I also have college homework to take care of! So, hoorah for that. Thank the gods I at least have them on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
This isn't a complaint or any of the sorts towards the timing of the RP's nor the mods. This is just a lil schedule/future warning in case people wonder where the hell I am. It sucks, but hey man, Duty calls. I'll try as hard as I can to get on as many Chat RP's in the near future, but if the situation comes to worse, consider the following.
