Thanks to the minimal effort that Dermal contributed, the Heavenbents were safely escorted out of Shelles Harbor after being picked up by Ovr'Kot on his ship. Aside from the feeling of relief washing over Angels and the excitement they got from being on an alien ship, many were left with a nagging feeling. What is that strange orb the Ophir girl picked up?
As the ship flew through the night sky, the moon taking notice, Spur once more requested to hold the orb and looked at it quizzically.
"Considering that we're out of danger, we can divert our attention to...whatever this is," Spur began, "It certainly is an orb."
"Such an astute observation, there," Cowlneck commented. But the sass was less than appreciated by Spur who only glanced at Cowlneck briefly before rotating the orb.
There was nothing to it. It was just a simple, glowing orb that didn't seem to radiate any type of heat energy despite it giving off light. Perhaps it was truly ethereal like the girl said, but what could its purpose be? The pondering led to the orb getting handed around the spaceship. Some of the Heavenbents simply appreciated it for what it was while others truly wondered what it was for. Eventually people were just rolling it on the ground to each other to bide their time before it rolled into the Throne's, Ovr'Kot's, feet who picked it up.

"My, I haven't seen this old thing in such a long time. But you didn't have to look for it at all, not like we missed it or anything."
The way the Throne spoke about the orb intrigued the Heavenbents, Cowlneck getting closer to the Original as he spoke.
"Care to elaborate?" He asked, poking at the orb.
"Simple," Ovr'Kot began, "This orb is nothing more than the batteries that supply our ships with energy. What you picked up was nothing more than a dry battery that we threw away when we first got to this planet."
Strappon took the orb from Ovr'Kot, refusing to believe that this was nothing more than just a simple battery.
"But...What about the barriers? It created a force field that deterred the supernatural!"
"Force field? Oh!" The Throne laughed, getting back the orb while opening a small panel in the ship, "That's nothing more than the exhaust fumes old, dry batteries leave behind!"
"We certainly hope you didn't breathe that in!"
