[LOST SOUL] Bloodgood Cutter and the Strange Mirror

  There are many programs about haunted locations and ghost adventurers trying to record paranormal activity and haunted objects on television nowadays. The worst ones, with the most sounds and unexplained occurrences recorded on camera, are in old asylums, tuberculosis hospitals or Native American burial grounds. Daten City has a wealth of new and old stories from its past as well, and often times up-and-coming Ghost Investigators find themselves in its midst.

Recently, there have been reports of patients in Daten Hospital being unable to recover, becoming worse the moment they set foot in the institution. This had become a cause for concern, and a local ghost hunting team had tried to investigate the happenings. What they found was far more than they could fight, and they took off running.

"A demon haunting the Hospital?" Strappon asked, looking down at the paper, then back at the old man before him who was wringing his hands nervously, "Sir, with all due respect, demons do not haunt things. Ghosts, however, do."

He handed the paper back to the man and sat up fully at his desk. The man gave an almost wimpery sigh as he took the paper back.

"It's as the file says. They brought in a Demonologist and everything! The pictures show a demonic entity haunting the hospital, causing the patients to be sick!" He hollered, waving the manila folder around with little regard to the papers coming loose.

"Sir- Mr. Wellmaker- Please calm yourself!" Strappon asked, trying to calm the man's sudden outburst, "I believe there's something there! My Angels and I will investigate this- your hospital is incredibly important, it would be a shame if we lost it for any amount of time. Now, please. Please calm yourself."

The man ceased his tirade and sighed, taking a tissue from the box the Templar had provided him earlier and drying the tears on his eyes. Strappon walked up to him and guided him toward the door.

"I'll make sure we get to your case shortly, I just need to assemble my Angels and we'll head right to the hospital." He explained, trying not to seem hasty in getting the extremely emotional man out of his office, "The sooner the better, after all!"

As if on cue, Blazer was there to guide the man out of Strappon's office. Mr. Wellmaker sputtered a few other things, but they were lost in the walls of the rest of the human dorms as he was quickly taken away. Strappon sighed and picked up his phone to text Shades to assemble everyone- this seemed like it was going to be a doosy.

  Paperwork had finally subsided, and it seemed like suddenly demons were getting assignments left and right to seek and destroy Lost Souls. There were a great many attempts to find them in the droves of ghost activity plaguing Daten's streets, but they were much harder to come across considering their creation method. It was impossible to create a Lost Soul, since they usually died without tragedy and with no knowledge of their death.

And then, it was like Fate had given them some sort of guidance as the hospital was filled with that kind of issue. And there seemed to be a Lost Soul within its walls.

But where?

Shroud stood in front of the hospital, Amulet at his side, seeming to scan the area behind his glasses. He turned to the teal-haired man and nodded.

"Gather a team. This one seams to hold a strong presence with it. We'll need to act quickly." He said, "I'll make sure the hospital is cleared for the investigation, you can do the rest."

Amulet smiled and bowed, turning to leave when his vision caught a red convertible pulling into the parking lot. He watched as Blazer and Mr. Wellmaker got out and entered the building, recognizing the Angel, and cursed to himself inwardly. This wouldn't be easy at all, but if they could bide time until the night, he felt it would be much easier for them to investigate.
