Specs wandered around the park lazily surveying the area for any ghosts she needed the money after all but this was still boring. With a sigh she slumps to the floor on a near by tree and started to doze off but soon she heard the sound of a soft "mew" in the distance She immediately became alert looking around frantically until her eyes rested upon a silhouette of a small creature from a distance. For certain she new what it was getting up and going closer to it, It was a small gray striped kitten. She slowly came even closer to it trying not to startle the creature and as soon she was at a good distance she pounced. she was able to catch the small kitten with out startling it, she began petting it behind the ears and under it's chin making it purr loudly in content. 'hm This guys a real softy for a stray' she thought but looked closer to it's neck at the bright pink collar "Oh you belong to some one" she said to it picking it up and looked at it as it looked back tilting it's head to aside "you must've gotten lost huh?" she continued as if it could actually hold a conversation with her "Ah well maybe I should find your owner then shouldn't I?" she asked and got a meow in response "Alright then lets find your owner" |

Ah yes, the park. What a wonderful day it was to be going on an adventure through Daten City's glorious park.
Jacket, wearing his almost-famous-at-this-point Cat hoodie, was walking around the area with a bounce in his step, headphones in ears and all. He looked around the park, trying to find something- crime or adventure was calling the name of a hero.
He rounded the corner and walked past the blue-haired girl before stopping and walking backwards, spotting the cat. He gasped loudly.
"Kittyyy!" He said, shuffling over and squatting down to pet the cat. "What a cutie! Does it have a name?"
He looked up at the stranger with a wide grin.

Today didn't seem out of the ordinary in Daten. It was tranquil, an oddity for this chaotic city's standards. But for the job Hot Pants was ordered to carry out, it was a welcomed sight. His boss, Fedora, had requested Hot Pants to walk his dog at the park today. It was an elegant white Doberman that would be a treat to witness in international dog shows. Hot Pants guessed walking a dog was better than latching on to the boss doing nothing for the day. That may be the case, at least, if he didn't have to pick up after the dog relieved itself. He couldn't stand the smell or the sight, but what can you do.
As he turned the corner, the dog began to tug on its leash. The intensity of it would increase little by little as it began to whimper and whine, suddenly turning directions. As much as he attempted to calm the dog down, Hot Pants wasn't a match for this powerhouse of a pooch. He was a pretty short dude with almost no muscle, after all. In a last attempt keeping the dog put, Hot Pants shifted his weight on to his heels. The concrete walkway's smooth surface worked against Hot Pants, making him slide across it with ease until he hit the grass. He felt the grass grind under his heels, making him wince. All those grass stains and he barely got these shoes.
The dog suddenly bolted, pulling Hot Pants with enough force to catapult him for a short distance. He face planted, feeling warmth rushing through his nose. Oh no, hopefully he didn't break it. Gently rubbing his nose, he regained his footing and turned to the direction of where the dog darted off. Hot Pants felt his heart racing as the dog was running straight at a person with a cat. Oh shit, he thought and ran after it.
Thankfully, Hot Pants' fears weren't realized and the dog was nothing more than intrusive. It was curious about this girl, but it was more so with the random cat. It sniffed the small feline with excitement, making Hot Pants sigh in relief once he caught up.
"Oh God, I'm so sorry. I tried to keep this dog under control. I hope nothing happened!"

Specs looked towards the man surprised as he petted the cat "O-oh! I-I'm not sure I just found him and his tag is missing...he seems to be a lost" she said quietly smiling sheepishly at him and the cat. 'whoa he's friendly and kinda pretty up close...I wonder if he's single' she thought and the smile on her face getting bigger and as she was about to ask she was interrupted by the sound of someone running and also the sound of paws against the grass as the dog came running to her. She panicked falling backwards and tried to get back up to save the kitten and the man petting it but to her surprise it was merely sniffing it, She sighed in relief looking over to the man who was running towards her apologizing "O-Oh! It's okay We're fine!" She said trying to raise her voice louder so he can hear her. |

"Thank goodness! I don't know what I would of done if anything happened. Actually I shouldn't assume stereotypes about this dog, she's basically babied to all hell and back..."
Hot Pants muttered to himself halfway into his sentence, feeling a little guilty for thinking this dog was aggressive just for its breed. He shook his head, looking back at the girl, the cat, and...some dude wearing a killer cat hoodie?
"Whoa! Hey!" Hot Pants waved to Jacket, attempting to catch his attention, "Where'd you get that? It's a nice jacket. I've been looking for something to get before the Fall!"

Jacket tilted his head at Specs, scratching his head.
"Oh, dang. Maybe there's an address on the collar--"
When the big dog approached and sniffed the cat, he pet its head. He waved at Hot Pants.
"Cute dog! Oh, I got my jacket online at some point. Can't remember the site, used my friend's credit card, actually. It comes with some paw gloves!" He answered, taking out the gloves in his pocket and displaying them, more toward the little kitty, with a short "nya!"

Specs aw'd a little that was actually kind of cute, She looked the the jacket he was wearing more closely this time just realizing it was cat themed "Oh! I get it now it's a cat outfit!" She said Finally putting two and two together "Man I didn't even notice I was like to busy lookin' at you're face!" she continued smiling sheepishly again and scratching her head. The kitten let out a small mew and purred going closer to the dog and started to nuzzle it's face happily not phased by the dog at all. |

Jacket winked at Specs.
"I have an incredible face, I know!" He chuckled before looking over at the other man staring at him.
"You know, like Nya?" He answered with another little paw-swipe and a wink in his direction.

Specs Laughed a little they two really are a class act, she reached for the kitten and picked it up cradling it in her arms and it curled up against her "I think I should be on my way I gotta find this little guy's owner" She said getting up petting the kitten in her arms " If I'm lucky I might find some fliers for the little guy maybe even the owner" she continued and looked around the park |

Hot Pants picked up the dog's leash as Specs stood up. "You want some help with that? I'm basically doing nothing all day aside from dog sitting."

"Oh really? Thanks I could need all the help I could get!" she said smiling at hot pants eagerly and the kitten meowed as well as if thanking him too
