DCMissionaries has recently begun porting a dice-based combat system as per Contributor suggestions from experience with their affiliated group.
Yurei-Chan will be the first ghost to test this new combat system out! And we are excited to see how it will go!
The point of this dice system is to even the playing ground for people and their attacks on a Ghost, and to make the person who writes the Ghost's job just a little easier so they can keep track of damage and how seriously to take some blows over others.
There will be refinements, but here is the skeleton you must work around. This RP will not have casters.
When you write a post, please click the dice button beside the emoticons.
How to set dice range:
When you click the dice button you will get a blank popup which says range. Please input your rank range in the 1-6 format, or whatever your rank range is.
Rankings go as follows - ALL NON-MOD CHARACTERS ARE CURRENTLY IN NOVICE RANK:
NOVICE RANK:
Neutral (Regular Humans)
Do Gooder
Tainted
Fallen Angel
Angels
Tempters
Minor-Lord
1-6 as your roll range.
1-2 being critical, 3-4 being moderate, and 5-6 being low damage.
INTERMEDIATE RANK:
Untainted/Pure
Miracle Worker
Heathen
Createn
Archangels
Virtues
Lords
Archdukes
1-5 as your roll range.
1-2 being critical, 3 being moderate, and 4-5 being low damage.
EXPERT RANK:
Saint
Hellspawn
Ophanim
Seraphim
Primals
Absolute
1-4 as your roll range.
1-2 being critical, and 3-4 being moderate damage.
For this event mark your dice as follows:
Damage rolls will be in your rank range.
Attack rolls will be in ranges 1-6, 1-4 being a hit, 5-6 being a miss. This means you have a 66% chance of hitting the Ghost.
When writing your attack post, we advise that you roll your damage and attack rolls before making a post. You cannot edit your rolls afterwards, and mods will check roll posts.
When you are writing your post, for the related attack please do [Dmg: #roll number#, AtK: hit/miss] in the post.
Damage rolls are irrelevant if your Attack roll misses.
If your Attack roll misses, you are still required to make a post.
