Well it wasn't the weirdest custom, at least it was the awkward groping some earthlings had done earlier. "Ah yes, the sports, I have done some research an-" Pausing as the Camel started to chew on his Fiber Optic hair strands. "Hello earthly Camel. I do not suggest eating my hair. It is not good for the digestive system of a camel." Not that he'd stop it, he'd just replace the strands later. But that didn't answer the question of who was behind the Camel. "Is someone there? Or am I picking up radio again?"

Seeming pleased with her job of grooming the new person, the large mammal did a sort of jump so that Cammy was in view. The red head ducked down again, but not out of view, and let her hand reach in front of Ai. She just hoped he didn't yank on it to see how the whole... moving limb thing worked. People did that. Especially if she was far enough away. "My... uh. I'm Cammy. She tried to ignore the other men around, even though she recognized the blond. Still, men, therefore much more important to be wary.

doll sighed alittle in worry and smiled keeping in check the brighter side of the situation and followed beads, but more in like a stumble then a walk. though she will avoid 'wrecking shit' like her friend instisted apon, "i-is there anyone else here today?" she said while trying to keep up with her energetic friend

Ai looked around to figure out what type of situation this called for. But then he figured it out, she wanted water. I mean, she had a camel and there was a bunch of sand. Humans couldn't digest salt water properly. It all made sense, at least to him. Because what was a handshake to a combat robot? So he reached to his stomach and opened up like a mini fridge. He stored things in the belly area, in this case drinks. "Here you are Cammy." Retrieving a water bottle and offering it. "Its not super cold but its not warm either."
His hair then followed by setting back into place. It was a sort of plastic, which means it would always take a certain shape.

Cammy turned beat red, or rather, the part of her face that could blush did. She grabbed the water, retracted her mechanical arm, and ducked down behind the camel again though she looked over Estelle's neck at the robot. "Why are you giving me water? People don't do that." Her camel companion snorted and shook a bit before plopping right on down in the spot she'd taken.

Longcoat just throws up his hands in failure. "I give up. This city will never cease in confusing the hell out of me." Seeing how jittery Cammy was, he decides to stay back a bit, behind Ai. "Camel's don't need to drink very often, you do know that?"

"I'm an android, I am not people. I do not understand earthly customs, only combat. I apologize if I read you wrong." But he didn't want to approach her, he did understand paranoia. He just didn't understand why anyone would be scared of him. He thought he was the friendliest angel around. But that was when he realized the high levels of red on her face. Maybe she was burning up, she needed that water. "Are you okay, your face is red"
Then acknowledging Long-coat. "Yes, that's why I offered it to her"

She mumbled something that sounded like men aren't usually this nice what's going on and fidgeted from her place on her camel's back. The red head was quick to practically chug it down though she kept her face averted so no one had to see the wreck that was her mouth. Considering she hadn't had anything to drink, it was very convenient timing. Hunching into herself, Cammy mumbled a very small thank you and self-consciously adjusted her face mask.

He'd be able to easily pick up on that if he were actually paying attention. He was more focused on the Camel that no one was addressing. I mean yes, Cammy was a bit different. But she fit in with all the residents of Daten. This camel however, was a camel. It wasn't till he realized the attire the girl was wearing, that he acknowledged her once more. "Are you here to swim? Thats an unusual swimming attire." Glancing back to check the others. "Oh, forgive me. Never mind, that is normal." In comparison to everyone else, he shouldn't question outfits. He shouldn't even question the camel, this was his life now.
After a moment of silence, Ai turned to Abbey and glanced down to see her better. "Should we not be doing, beach things? All I know is that this is a recreational spot."

The girl blinked, looking down at her outfit with a frown before shrugging. "I don't swim. Too burnt." Estelle gave a mighty huff and wriggled in place happily. Ah, yes, warm sand, like home. Cammy watched Ai carefully though, considering she slightly recognized him. Venda too.
Abbie shrugged and turned to look at the robot. "I'm here t' bronze some. But I wanted t' talk to Beanie here for a while more."

Too burnt, he didn't understand that. But he figured it had to do with some sort of human ailment. After all they were still human. "I apologize, I should not question things. I should start looking up things." With that in mind, he might be able to actually get good connection out here.
And since Abbie had no ideas on what to do, he began to research. With an arm raised up to the sky, he began to pick up reception. He searched for many beach going activities and sadly found very few. Or at least had to eliminate the ones he couldn't do. "Ah, sandcastles. That I can do."
Sadly, he did not understand scale and began to attempt building an actual castle made of sand. It would probably have helped if he understood the purpose of this human activity. But nevertheless, he began to gather materials. First he'd need a structure to house this all in. He'd need a big enough rock and thus he went toward the ocean to retrieve one.

Beanie observed the banter between Abbie and the robotic Ai curiously. She asked herself deep, thoughtful questions such as "why do robots just rise from the sand nowadays?" and "why is this one just here?" It seemed that Abbie could get along with it well enough, though, and that was a good indicator to her. More or less. With Ai's sudden declaration of sandcastle building being a good thing to do, she shrugged, and looked at Abbie.
"I'm going to go make sure my food doesn't burn, and then let's make a sand something or other. A tomb, maybe. We can bury someone in it." She suggested with a little playful wink, and then bounded off to go check on her grill.

Abbie scratched the back of her head as Ai moved off but turned her attention right on back to her friend. She gave an affirmative grunt and considered her options for a second. Yes, a sand tomb. She could bury the doctor in it. Hopefully he would never, ever get out again.
There was a noise of confusion, though, from Cammy. Look up what? It was pretty clear what she meant, after all. She clapped her hands together once with a large smile beneath her surgical mask. Obviously this person was an angel! Angels seemed to be very painfully oblivious to the ways of humans and of the world at times. Though she still didn't know how he could miss such severe burns all over her face. Or her nub ear. Or, really, how she was missing half her hair. Oh well, she thought, not everyone is observant!

In reality, he just didn't care. Humans were fragile and he grew to accept that. Plus it didn't bother him as looks were something that only affected humans. He was only interested in attention, so long as he had that he was happy.
But now Ai stood in front of the ocean, he stared into it for a while before walking in. Eventually he disappeared and remain underwater for a while. But then he returned and he wasn't alone. He found a slab of rock, squared enough to use as a base. Really it was just a bunker that had long been drowned by the ocean. But he didn't know that, so don't tell him.
Ai returned it to the beach and dragged it far enough to not touch the water. He then began to clean it from years of age. He was making a human sized sand mini castle. Why? It was the human thing to do. And it took this machine very little to actually get it set up. "Aha!" He exclaimed when done, now he had a mini castle to hang out in. Because for one, he didn't tan. And two, he was trying to fit in.

"........I don't know what else to expect today." Longcoat said to whoever heard him. "First a random camel, then.....that!" He motioned to, of course, Ai's sandy fallout shelter. With a sigh, he just drops to the ground, drawing little sailboats in the sand with his finger. "Sometimes I long for the old days..."
Sadpanda doctor, watch out.
