"That's very nice to know your parents are supportive." Strappon said, trying not to make eye contact with him. Boy, how nice would that be? "It must be hard not seeing them for three years. Anyway, here's the corridor you can pick a room to stay in. Most of the rooms on this floor are empty."
He hadn't really realized how fast they'd gotten there. Those stairs were getting to be less and less of a bother. He couldn't remember how long ago there was a bath tub located on them...
"You can bring your weapons in here as well, if you feel safer."

He felt a little remorse at how Strap responded, looking away and biting his lip.
Braces would take note of the rooms, picking out one close to the stairway. "This fine? Also...could I get a hand with the equipment in my car? There's a whole lot of it. And suitcases."

Shades was making a routine check at the Abbey, or so he calls it that because his shift at work was over and he had nothing better to do in all honesty. What caught him off-guard as he came up to the Abbey's entrance was the new car. Since when did Strap get such a shabby thing, didn't he have a Mercedes? He shrugged at the thought but something in the vehicle caught his attention. What the shit, this car was full of weapons. They look familiar, though. No matter, he'd carry on and let himself into the Abbey. It took him a bit of searching, but he finally found Strappon with...some other kid? Huh!
"Hey Strap!" He called out. "What's with the car full of weapons? The police is looking for answers." Yes Shades, just give them a heart attack while you're at it.

Braces saw the new guy, and started hollering, darting his eyes around. "What the hell? What the fuck? Are you fucking kidding me I JUST got done with that apprenticeship I'm too young to go to jail!!!" Braces marched over to Shady and glared at him; he wasn't taking this sitting down. "YOU--you--fucker! You're gonna help me evade these cops, alright? I'm not getting put in court for my life work!"

Shades was biting his lip and slapped his knee, beginning to laugh really hard. "I'm pulling your leg, pendejo!! Holy shit I haven't laughed that hard in a while...." He wiped away a tear and straightened out his Jacket. "That was mean of me, but you're good. That's all Hunter equipment, right? My dad has the same stuff too so I thought I'd be a shit to someone."

He let out a heavy sigh and held his head. This man was too much for him, sometimes.

Shades pushed back Braces, feeling his personal space getting invaded. "Whoa there, call off your hound. I'm the trainer here. Or at least taking a break, my fall was the most underwhelming thing ever unlike the majority of the fucks that live in this establishment but I love them all regardless." He adjusted his namesake somewhat. "I'll try not to next time, Strap. No promises, though."
He turned his attention back to Braces and tapped his chin, "Saaaay...you look sorta familiar. By any chance you know a Hunter by the name of Leather Jacket?"

He snapped his fingers, happy that he guessed right. "Oh hey, nice. You see, the old man's my dad and he's been running off more than he usually does on these 'shrimp boat expiditions' and it's kinda making me wonder why until I saw a glimpse of you one time? Kinda hard to remember since it was such a brief moment..."
He scratched the back of his head, trying to confirm if he saw the kid once or twice, "Anyways, somewhat sorry on that little prank I pulled on ya. The cops wouldn't even be able to do anything...you are registered, right?" Because if the kid isn't then we have a problem.

Strappon looked between the two. Oh, there was animosity towards Angels in him...
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause some sort of ruckus." He said, "It's a small world, either was, isn't it? Odd how things come full circle around here..."
He scratched his cheek and cleared his throat and tilted his head towards Shades.
"You should introduce yourself, at least. This is a new member of our Human helpers, Braces." He said, gesturing to Braces, "Though it seems you've met briefly before."

Strappon found he really did know nothing about Hunters. Where the bloody hell do you register those?
"Relax a little." He sighed, "I can tell you're not partial to Angels, but please be aware that we are helping them become better people? That's what helps me sleep at least."
Generally, this was true. He remembered his initial resentment to Angels, especially after his incidents with a certain Angel no longer around. He could possibly understand Braces, what with all that young zeal.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," He sighed, roughly ignoring Shades' response and looking to Strap. Braces rubbed the back of his head, ruffling his hair up.
"I...expected that much but," He let out a short spurt of breath through his nose. He wasn't going to run his sob story around for everyone, he didn't want pity, especially around an angel, no less. Fuck that.
He fiddled with the door.
